The legal bit — kept readable

Terms of Service

These terms govern your enrollment in the NavySteel AI Masterclass and your use of the class platform. We've written them in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us before you agree to it.

Last updated: October 2026

At a glance
  • ▸Your course materials are yours to use personally — not to resell or republish.
  • ▸Whatever you build in class is yours. Full stop.
  • ▸Payments run through Stripe; refund and transfer requests go through us, and we aim to be fair.
  • ▸Keep your account secure, treat the platform and other students with respect.

The summary above is a courtesy; the sections below are the actual terms.

1

What these terms cover

These terms apply to two things: your enrollment in a NavySteel AI Masterclass session, and your account on this platform (class.navysteel.ai), including the decks, labs, templates and other materials it gives you access to.

Custom application builds and consulting engagements — the work described on our Custom Apps page — are contracted separately, under their own written agreement. Those engagements are not governed by these terms, except where your project uses a platform account.

By enrolling in a masterclass or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you are enrolling on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you have the authority to accept them for the people you enroll.

2

Your account

To use the platform you need an account. You agree to give us accurate information when you sign up and to keep it current — we use it to run your cohort, deliver materials and contact you about your enrollment.

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. Don't share your sign-in with others, and tell us promptly via the contact page if you believe someone else has used your account. Accounts are personal to one student; a team enrolling multiple people gets one account per person.

3

Payments, transfers & refunds

Enrollment payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We don't see or store your full card details; Stripe's own terms apply to the payment transaction itself. Current enrollment options are on the pricing page.

Life happens, and we'd rather be fair than rigid. If you can't attend a session you've paid for, contact us — in most cases we can transfer your seat to a later session or to a colleague. If a transfer doesn't work for you, we'll discuss a refund; the earlier you reach out before your session date, the more we can do. All transfer and refund requests go through the contact page.

If we cancel or reschedule a session, you choose: a seat in the next session or a full refund.

4

Course materials license

The decks, lab sheets, templates, starter projects and other course materials belong to NavySteel. Your enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own learning and your own work — during the class and after it.

What that license doesn't include: redistributing the materials, publishing them, reselling them, or using them to run your own training based on our course. If you'd like to teach this material inside your organization, talk to us — our For Teams options exist for exactly that.

What you build is yours. Any website, code or project you create during the masterclass belongs to you, including work you built from our starter templates. We claim no ownership of your output.

5

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • ▸Attempt to access other students' accounts, data or work
  • ▸Probe, disrupt or circumvent the platform's security or access controls
  • ▸Use the platform to host or distribute unlawful, harmful or infringing content
  • ▸Scrape, copy or mass-download course materials beyond your personal use

The course teaches security habits — we expect them to be practiced here too. We may suspend or close accounts that breach this section; where it's practical, we'll contact you first.

6

Liability — kept simple

We stand behind the quality of the masterclass and the platform, and we deliver both with real care. That said, we can't guarantee specific outcomes from what you learn or build — results depend on how you apply it — and the platform is provided as-is, without warranties beyond what the law requires.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with the masterclass or the platform is limited to the amount you paid us for the enrollment in question. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any consumer guarantees that apply to you.

7

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the masterclass and platform evolve. When we make a material change, we'll update the “Last updated” date on this page and, for changes that affect active enrollments, notify you by email. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you don't, contact us and we'll work it out.
